Technical guide

NPK is only the start: read the nutrient basis.

Why nutrient forms, units and solubility belong beside every analysis.

CEON AGRI · Technical insight

Start with the declaration

A three-number NPK grade is not a complete specification. Check nitrogen forms, whether phosphate and potash are water-soluble, the secondary nutrients and the actual trace-element schedule.

Keep the units visible

Compare like with like. A % w/v liquid declaration describes mass per volume, while % w/w describes mass per mass. Density is needed to move between them. Oxide-to-element conversions retain the same underlying basis.

Ask for the current document

Use the signed product specification and the relevant batch certificate. A historical catalogue, a draft pack or an indicative target cannot establish the current supplied analysis.
