Sustainability
Measure the outcome.
Explain the boundary.
Responsible crop nutrition starts with the right nutrient budget, product selection and evidence for the claims being made.
Nutrient use
Match inputs to the programme
Account for existing soil supply, organic inputs and irrigation nutrients. A product category alone does not prove improved nutrient-use efficiency.
Water
Define what is being saved
Distinguish applied irrigation water from crop water use and marketable output. WaterSmart claims will need a defined baseline and trial conditions.
Carbon
Separate coating from footprint
Carbon-coated urea is a product description. It is not evidence of sequestration, a lower product footprint, carbon neutrality or a CBAM benefit.
Our publication standard
Environmental comparisons need a defined functional unit, system boundary, data period and methodology. Distinguish measured results from estimates, and identify whether a result applies to manufacturing, transport or field use.
No site-wide carbon reduction, yield uplift, water saving or sustainability certification is claimed in this release. Future evidence can be added through the controlled research and document workflow.
